The problem I see with this is mixing voltages inside of a junction box. Usually if there are two different voltages in a box, code requires a divider to separate them. This is also why most doorbell transformers have the line voltage wires inside of a box and the low voltage wires sitting outside of the box on the other end of the transformer.
